Key Responsibilities Customer Service : Respond to inbound calls from clients, listen to their concerns, and provide solutions to their problems in a timely and professional manner. Product Knowledge : Develop and maintain a deep understanding of American Express products and services, including credit cards, travel, and lifestyle offerings. Selling and Upselling : Identify opportunities to sell and upsell American Express products and services, building relationships with clients and meeting sales targets. Communication : Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear and concise information about products and services. Problem-Solving : Resolve client complaints and concerns in a fair and timely manner, escalating issues to senior representatives when necessary. Data Entry : Accurately document client interactions and update client records in our CRM system. Compliance : Adhere to all regulatory requirements, company policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications Education : High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred. Experience : At least 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center or sales environment. Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues. Technical Skills : Proficiency in computer applications, including CRM software and Microsoft Office. Preferred Qualifications Industry Experience : Experience working in the financial services industry, preferably with American Express or a similar company. Sales Experience : Proven sales experience, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Leadership Skills : Experience in a leadership or team lead role, with the ability to motivate and coach colleagues.
