Job Summary As a Virtual Night Shift Registered Nurse, you'll play a critical role in assessing and caring for patients remotely through our advanced telehealth platform. This innovative approach enables us to provide high-quality care while expanding access to our services. You'll work collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination, leveraging video conferencing and digital tools to facilitate admissions, discharges, communication, and patient education. Key Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate patient care plans from admission to discharge, utilizing our telehealth platform to facilitate communication and collaboration with the healthcare team. Leverage video conferencing and digital tools to complete admissions, discharges, and patient education, ensuring a high level of care coordination and patient satisfaction. Collaborate with the healthcare team to facilitate optimal provision of care, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and compassion. Utilize computerized and digital platforms to support daily management of care, ensuring timely and effective interventions. Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, adhering to documentation standards and regulatory requirements. Essential Qualifications Current Iowa RN license Minimum of 8 years of nursing experience, with a strong background in acute care BSN degree preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple patients simultaneously Preferred Qualifications Experience with telehealth technology and virtual patient care Strong understanding of healthcare informatics and digital platforms Previous experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Certifications in specialty areas, such as CCM or ACM, are desirable Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess a unique blend of clinical expertise, technical skills, and interpersonal abilities.
