Evaluate and track student progress, implementing necessary modifications to ensure academic success. Regularly assess student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and implementing modifications to ensure that each student receives the support and resources necessary to succeed. Offer virtual support and guidance to families and educational teams. Required Skills Proficiency in developing and managing IEPs. Have experience developing and managing IEPs, ensuring that each student receives a high-quality education that meets their individual needs. Expertise in addressing the unique needs of students with special education requirements. Possess a deep understanding of the unique needs of students with special education requirements, and be able to develop and implement strategies to support their academic success. Preferred experience within virtual teaching environments. Have experience teaching in virtual environments, and be familiar with the unique challenges and opportunities that come with online instruction. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, and be able to work effectively with families, educational staff, and fellow educators to support the academic success of each student. Ability to adapt teaching methodologies to cater to diverse learning styles. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education. Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, and be certified to teach in Illinois. Valid Special Education teaching license in Illinois. Hold a valid Special Education teaching license in Illinois, and be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of the unique needs of students with special education requirements. Experience in addressing special education needs, particularly within virtual settings is preferred.
