About the Mechatronics & Sustainable Packaging Team The Mechatronics & Sustainable Packaging (MSP) team at arenaflex is responsible for driving future innovation across all aspects of mechatronics and packaging. We focus on developing strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including Operations, RME, ACES, Supply Chain, Transportation, WW Design, and more, to deliver robust products that effectively integrate into the arenaflex network. Our team works on industrial hardware/control machines, such as robotic cells, autonomous vehicles, sortation, packing technologies, and packaging materials, to create a more efficient and sustainable future. Job Overview We are seeking an outstanding Quality Assurance Engineer - Virtual & Simulation Testing to join our MSP team. As a key member of our team, you will develop virtual platforms to allow solutions to be tested and verified through simulations and emulations with a high degree of fidelity. You will partner with Product Teams to drive high-quality product delivery, QA Manual Testing and Requirements Teams to synchronize virtual and physical tests, and internal Customers to ensure new solutions meet their requirements. Your primary focus will be on developing and executing virtual system test plans to validate system-level requirements, meet customer deliverables, and ensure integrated system performance across all sub-components. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and execute simulations and Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) testing to virtually validate end-to-end solutions with real-life software Ensure products meet required specifications for quality, function, operation, reliability, maintenance, training & learning, deployment, process- and Material Handling Equipment (MHE) integration, service, and support prior to delivery Identify and set appropriate quality standards and parameters for products, communicating them to the product team, including hardware, software, controls, and materials development teams Coordinate simulations and testing processes, identifying and analyzing issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, and recommending solutions Connect with internal customers, reviewing client, customer, and user feedback, and maintaining compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you should have a strong foundation in quality assurance, modeling, simulation, testing, integration, and domain expertise. You should also have experience working with large cross-functional engineering teams and a proven track record of driving quality across products. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree (BS) in a relevant field 5+ years of proven experience working with large cross-functional engineering teams with modeling, simulation, testing, integration, and/or quality assurance domain expertise Proven experience in fulfillment systems with storage equipment, material handling systems, automated sortation systems, and related automation equipment Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to travel up to 70% to business locations and project sites Preferred Qualifications Experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and systems, including robotics and high-speed manufacturing Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members, operations, and management Project managing skills to start and finish projects successfully Career Growth and Development Opportunities At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
