As a Warehouse Lead on our 3rd shift team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facilities, leading a team of dedicated professionals, and driving success in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Warehouse Lead to join our team on the 3rd shift, working Monday through Friday from 10:00 pm to 6:30 am, with rotating weekends. As a Warehouse Lead, you will be responsible for assisting the Warehouse Manager and Supervisor(s) in all areas of warehouse operations, providing leadership to the team, training and evaluating warehouse personnel, and maintaining expertise in all areas of warehouse operations. You will also be responsible for providing feedback on performance, assisting in interviewing potential candidates, and providing direction and guidance to the assigned team. Key Responsibilities Lead and direct the daily activities of warehouse teammates to ensure the safe and successful completion of all related daily warehouse activities and operations Verify and ensure all applicable warehouse processes are followed, including handling damaged product check-in, and handle specific areas of responsibility as assigned by the Warehouse Manager and Supervisor(s) Train and lead Warehouse Personnel, evaluate processes, and strive for continuous improvements Communicate with Warehouse Management and Warehouse Personnel regarding identified process improvements, personnel improvements, quality, Out-of-Stocks (OOS), and other relevant issues Lead and model the safety culture, striving for 100% compliance with safety policies and procedures Support, lead, and motivate a team to deliver results by communicating company goals, safety practices, and deadlines, engaging and developing teammates through effective on-the-job coaching and training, and implementing continuous improvement methods while maintaining customer focus Assist in interviewing potential candidates and influence and advise management on performance management matters Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a high school diploma or GED, as well as knowledge acquired through 1 to 3 years of work experience in a related field. You will also need to demonstrate extensive knowledge of all Warehouse Processes and Warehouse Systems, the ability to prioritize and multi-task, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced atmosphere while walking and repetitively lifting 30 lbs. Preferred Qualifications Preferred candidates will possess PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) Certification, including Pallet Jack, Forklift, Double Forklift, Hy-Jaws, Ty-Guard, Triple Double, Switch Tractor, and Floor Scrubber. Additionally, experience with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Internet Explorer will be an asset.
