About the Role As a Work at Home Customer Service Agent, you'll be the face of our company, interacting with hundreds of customers each week to resolve support issues, sell new products and services, and ensure best-in-class customer experiences. You'll be responsible for handling inbound customer inquiries, troubleshooting basic technical issues, and assisting customers with adding or removing products and services. Key Responsibilities: Listen to customers, understand their needs, and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner Utilize systems and technology to complete account management tasks, including updating customer information and processing transactions Recognize sales opportunities and apply sales skills to upgrade or sell new products and services to customers Explain and position products and processes with customers, addressing any concerns or questions they may have Appropriately escalate customer dissatisfaction to managerial teams, ensuring prompt resolution and minimizing customer churn Ensure first-call resolution through effective problem-solving and call handling, reducing the need for follow-up interactions Candidate Qualifications We're looking for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and have a strong work ethic. Essential Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older High school diploma or equivalent required Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills Ability to type swiftly and accurately (20+ words per minute) Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) Basic understanding of Windows operating system Highly reliable with regular attendance and punctuality Ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, and follow up on customer issues Aptitude for conflict resolution, problem-solving, and negotiation Customer service-oriented with a strong focus on empathy, responsiveness, patience, and conscientiousness Preferred Qualifications: Previous customer service or sales experience Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills What We Offer At MCI, we believe in rewarding our employees for their hard work and dedication.
