Family Pastor
Overview The Family Pastor serves the church by leading and caring for children, students, and their families. This role focuses on partnering with parents, discipling the next generation, and building simple, healthy ministry environments that fit the size and culture of our church. Family & Next-Generation Ministry • Lead and oversee children’s and student ministries, often serving directly with kids and students • Teach regularly in children’s and/or student settings • Plan age-appropriate, biblically faithful lessons and activities • Help guide students through key spiritual milestones such as baptism and discipleship Volunteer Leadership • Recruit, train, and encourage volunteers from within the church • Create simple systems that support volunteers without overwhelming them • Model a servant-hearted, team-first approach Parent Partnership • Build strong relationships with parents and caregivers • Equip families to disciple their children at home • Communicate clearly and consistently with families Pastoral Care & Church Life • Provide pastoral care for children, students, and families • Be present in the life of the church (worship, events, outreach) • Collaborate closely with the Lead Pastor and staff Administration & Safety • Help manage ministry calendars, basic budgets, and supplies • Ensure child safety policies are followed • Keep ministry environments welcoming, safe, and organized Apply tot his job
