The Financial Assistant will be responsible for managing end-to-end billing cycles, performing reconciliations, and monitoring cash collections while ensuring client satisfaction and accuracy in billing processes. Responsibilities Collaborate with the Director of Finance to maintain client accounting goals and general billing performance levels is maintained Ensuring all billing process and inquiries are handled quickly and efficiently Preparing invoices forwarding to appropriate contact or department as required Monitor and reviewing outstanding bills and following up with appropriate internal and external teams to ensure payment is made Preparing various reports and spreadsheets related to billing and receivables Review invoices for potential errors and/or discrepancies. Investigate and resolve discrepancies Post company sales to general and sub ledgers. Reconcile ledgers monthly Review all credit balances, refunds, and adjustments, and apply adjustments and/or corrections to corporate records Form billing strategies to make timely invoicing and mitigate client and Consultants objections Investigate receivable problems while following billing policies and procedures Reconcile: Customer accounts and sending invoice copies Revenue reconciliation and forecast Defer revenue and WIP accounts, including analysis Reconcile and manage: Sales incentives Third party passthrough costs and expenses Customer experience – assist with customer billing inquiries, collections and issuing statements Verify validity of account discrepancies by investigating information from consultants Resolve and assisting valid or authorized short payment and write offs by entering adjusted entries Assist with month/quarter/year end activities related to client accounting Skills 1-2 years of experience of client billing job duties High School degree, Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration preferred Knowledge and use of ledgers, accounting practices, MS Office Suite, and other business intelligent software applications Basic knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures and terminology Excellent ability to problem-solve Strong interpersonal skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration preferred SAP or any large ERP experience preferred.
