Financial Systems Analyst (Hybrid)

They are seeking a Financial Systems Analyst to support their Finance team, focusing on maintaining the general ledger and reporting tools, ensuring accuracy and completeness in financial reporting, and contributing to process improvements. Responsibilities Assists in the maintenance of the General Ledger chart of accounts and updates various financial statement reporting hierarchies Ensures the integration of code values from source systems through ERP to reporting tools, as well as financial statement reports under both IFRS and US Statutory frameworks Designs, configures, implements, and supports the security and workflow structures of the company’s PeopleSoft modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Travel & Expense, and eProcurement, as well as associated reporting tools Ensures reporting tools are complete and accurate by performing monthly balancing and root cause analysis as needed during the monthly close process and the annual budget cycle. Performs ad-hoc analysis and reporting for management as required Builds strong relationships between Financial Systems and the Information Technology team in support of Finance Business Owners’ objectives. Provides input to help prioritize financial system projects Assists in the preparation of technical specifications to support the Information Technology team in analyzing, designing, and developing technical solutions Skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Analyst or a related field—or equivalent experience 1–3 years of relevant experience (internships included), ideally with an accounting concentration or degree Basic understanding of accounting principles, including debits, credits, and financial statement presentation Interest in financial systems, data integrity, and process improvement Enjoys analyzing and improving process flows; brings a continuous improvement mindset Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively Customer-focused with an appreciation for accuracy and completeness in financial reporting Proficient in Windows applications; experience with ERPs (e.g., PeopleSoft) and reporting tools preferred Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental and vision insurance with no waiting period Competitive paid time off programs 401(k) savings and annual contributions of up to 12% of annual salary Mental health support programs Life and disability insurance Paid parental leave A variety of additional voluntary benefits Company Overview Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions offer a range of specialty insurance products sold through independent agencies and wholesalers.
