This is a temporary position. Are you driven by the power of music to connect, inspire, and elevate brand experiences? Marriott’s Global Partnerships team is seeking a Sr. Manager of Music Partnerships to curate and deliver creative and buzz worthy Music Partnerships and Experiences for Marriott Bonvoy Members and guests worldwide. The Sr. Manager will work with existing Marriott’s existing partners and identify new partners across to execute Marriott’s Global Music Strategy. This person will manage Music Partnerships from strategy through execution including but not limited to: partner identification, marketing rights and asset identification and negotiation, production and experiential agency / vendor identification and management, contract negotiation(s), creative development and production, onsite program management, and post event follow-up. This position requires a self-motivated professional - with experience in the Music industry - who is a strategic thinker, experienced marketer, has good communication skills, possesses strong project management skills, and has a passion for Music. This position also requires the ability to work across the organization, collaborating across Continent Marketing, Global Marketing, Loyalty, Marriott Bonvoy Moments, Sales, Social, Content, PR, Purpose Driven, Legal, Finance, and external agencies to ensure an integrated approach and proper pull through across media, promotions, events, on-property, at retail, and more The Sr. Manager, Music Partnerships reports directly to the Director, Music Partnerships. CANDIDATE PROFILE Education and Experience Required · 4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related major. · Five or more years of experience in music partnerships, brand partnerships, or entertainment strategy · Strong network across the music ecosystem (artists, labels, promoters, streaming, etc.) · Exceptional collaboration and stakeholder management skills. · Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization with global stakeholders. · Demonstrated ability to translate creative vision into business results. · Experience working with Agency partners and managing vendor relationships Education and Experience Preferred · Experience using Data and Analytics CORE WORK ACTIVITIES Strategy, Planning and Execution · Manages the development and planning of buzz worthy Music partnerships and experiences, leveraging brand, business, partner, audience, culture, market and competitive insights to develop the overarching partnership approach · Delivers partnership activation planning tools and resources, working in collaboration with key stakeholders and cross functional teams, to create operating efficiencies from project from kick off to implementation · Manages Music Partnerships Center of Excellence, monitoring and reporting on brand activation trends and insights across music globally. · Manages global activation budget, coordinating with Continent Marketing Teams on local activation budgets. · Develops annual plan to maintain tracking and reporting of key activations across the calendar year. · Works with cross function teams to ensure KPI’s and revenue generating opportunities available by partnership are activated and reported on. · Builds partnership activation playbook, identifying new and innovative ways teams can pull-through and implement the partner through properties, products, experiences, and marketing. · Collaborates with cross functional teams to amplify activations across MI ecosystem, from delivering one-of-a-kind experiences for Bonvoy members, to creating breakthrough content and buzz worthy in-market executions At Marriott International, we are dedicated to being an equal opportunity employer, welcoming all and providing access to opportunity.
