Graduate Bridge Engineer (Early Career)

They are seeking a Graduate Bridge Engineer to join their Chicago Bridge team, where the individual will work alongside experienced engineers on real-world bridge projects while building a strong technical foundation. Responsibilities Learn how to read and interpret engineering plans and bridge details Perform calculations, quantity take-offs, and basic structural analysis Assist with bridge modeling using industry-standard software Support project coordination, scheduling, and progress reporting Help produce engineering drawings, calculations, and cost estimates Apply AASHTO and other relevant codes and standards to real projects Collaborate with engineers, drafters, and project teams Participate in site visits and inspections to see designs come to life Skills Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural emphasis Recent graduate or 1–2 years of bridge or structural engineering experience (internships count!)
