As a Health Plan Data Analyst II, you will be part of a dynamic team driving positive change in the healthcare industry. Key Responsibilities Participate as a member of the Health Partner Lifecycle (HPLC) team on expansion and provider network development activities, driving business growth and improvement. Perform disruption analysis activities for assigned markets, identifying trends and insights to inform strategic decisions. Assimilate large quantities of complex data into meaningful formats for tracking and status requirements, ensuring data-driven decision-making. Serve as Project Manager for select HPLC initiatives, coordinating activities and stakeholders to achieve project goals. Develop Performance Improvement initiatives and corrective action plans to enhance provider data quality and network development. Create database structures and reports as needed, utilizing advanced SQL skills and data analysis expertise. Develop queries to aid in information retrieval, validation, and updating of provider databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Collaborate with internal and external partners to gather information for provider network reporting and analyses, fostering strong relationships and stakeholder engagement. Coordinate and track State files, hospital, physician, and ancillary recruitment information, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Prepare NCQA documentation for assigned markets as needed, demonstrating expertise in regulatory compliance. Act as Subject Matter Expert for provider data and impacts to downstream processes, providing guidance and support to stakeholders. Essential Qualifications To succeed as a Health Plan Data Analyst II, you will need: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in data analysis and healthcare. A minimum of three (3) years of data analysis or experience in a healthcare setting, showcasing your ability to drive business outcomes through data-driven insights. Advanced Microsoft Excel, Access, SQL, and Word skills, with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools like Power BI. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to stakeholders. Strong analytical and graphical presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex data into actionable recommendations. The ability to work independently and within a team environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced healthcare landscape. Preferred Qualifications To further enhance your candidacy, you may have: Managed care experience, providing a deeper understanding of healthcare operations and stakeholder needs. Project management experience, showcasing your ability to coordinate activities and stakeholders to achieve project goals. Experience with Visio and PowerPoint, demonstrating your ability to create engaging presentations and visualizations. Working knowledge of provider data repositories and directories, highlighting your familiarity with healthcare data systems.
