Responsibilities Support the EDD's enterprise IT Network engineering and operations, including hardware and software components and the confidential data managed by the organization Responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and operations of statewide IT network systems Help shape the transformation into a customer-focused service organization by adhering to the Branch's cultural principles Foster positive communication and build relationships with vendors, colleagues, management, and clients Skills Understanding of IP networking, protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), routing, switching and ability to configure and troubleshoot network devices such as routers, switches, Wireless controllers and firewalls Skills in network security including firewalls, Virtualization Security and troubleshooting Proficient in scripting languages such as Python and automation tools Ability to monitor, detect network bottlenecks and improve efficiency Cloud computing knowledge such as AWS, AZURE or Google cloud, concepts like virtualization and hybrid cloud computing Firm understanding of Layer 1 technologies such as Single, Multimode fiber and Layer 1 troubleshooting tools Company Overview When you turn to us, we have a program that can help you reach your goals.
