What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
? Perform actuarial tasks that involve mathematical and quantitative analysis
? Analyze hospital, professional, and drug claim/utilization trends, along with demographic data
? Complete pricing analysis, financial projections, and other actuarial calculations
? Develop and implement analyses for special projects and ensure quality deliverables
? Provide technical and analytical support for the actuarial department

What Is Required (Qualifications)
? Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or a related finance/business degree
? 3 - 5+ years of relevant professional work experience and/or education
? Progress toward obtaining actuarial credentials, including sitting for a minimum of one exam per year
? Strong mathematical and analytical skills
? Proficient in MS Office and knowledgeable in SQL, R, Python, or similar programming languages

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
? Actuarial/analytical experience in a healthcare environment
? Experience with data extraction, simulations, and automation techniques
