Hours: Full-Time (37.5 Hrs. per week)

Caseload: Mild / Mod ASD and other spectrum disorders.

Class Size: Discuss in Interview

Location: Remote - Virtual

Key Responsibilities
? Deliver tailored academic instruction using evidence-based methods, such as multisensory learning techniques.
? Design individualized education programs to meet the unique needs of each student.
? Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding student progress and strategies.
? Use positive reinforcement strategies to guide student behavior and foster a positive classroom atmosphere.
? Maintain comprehensive records to meet local and federal compliance standards.
? Collaborate with classroom teachers to adapt curricula to support special education students.
? Administer assessments to help diagnose learning disabilities and monitor academic progress.
? Utilize a variety of instructional approaches to facilitate understanding of subject matter.

Qualifications: ? Experience in a school environment is preferred but not required ? Valid New Mexico state license
