We are seeking a Lab Systems Specialist for our IT department. This role requires 25% travel across the US. LabCorp Lab Systems is a dynamic team that supports a variety of the laboratories. The Lab System Specialist will assist with the enhancement, migration, and support of clinical laboratory platforms. Duties & Responsibilities: • Creating plans and determining deliverables for non-IT PMO led projects/implementations, working with extended teams to obtain updates and escalate as needed if defined timelines are at risk • Consulting with users to identify current operating procedures and clarify program objectives • Preparing Laboratory Bulletins for instrument interfaces, middleware platforms, automation, supporting services, programs and/or applications Required Skills and Experience • Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management, including creating and managing project plans • Ability to travel up to 25% throughout the United States • Experience with file definition and configuration within Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), instrument interfaces, and middleware platforms • Proficiency in creating user training documentation using Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, and other relevant tools • Demonstrated initiative in learning and working with existing applications • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written • Experience working with healthcare applications and systems • Familiarity with operating systems including Windows and Linux • Proficiency with tools such as Visio, Microsoft Word, and Excel • Experience with systems such as LCLS, Data Innovations, LCWS, and SIS/SRS is a plus Location Requirements: Candidates with both laboratory and project management experience are preferred and may be considered for flexible work arrangements. Those without prior laboratory experience but with relevant project management experience will also be considered; however, they are required to be located near a Labcorp laboratory site to support in-person training. Approved training locations include Burlington, NC; Birmingham, AL; Dublin, OH; and Portland, OR. Application Window: 10/31/2025 Pay Range: $71,000 – 90,000 All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
