Lead Investment Research Analyst - Investment Due Diligence

In this role, you will: Performing initial and ongoing due diligence on third-party investment products, asset class research coverage, which includes maintaining a high-conviction list of products in the assigned asset classes Create and deliver presentations to business partners and Financial Advisors Responding to inquiries about the recommendations and/or selection methodology used on products under coverage, drafting communications to the field, conducting onsite due diligence, and performing risk analysis on third-party investment products Assisting in the management of key workflow initiatives Assisting in the training of junior level Analysts Responsibilities • Performing initial and ongoing due diligence on third-party investment products, asset class research coverage, which includes maintaining a high-conviction list of products in the assigned asset classes • Create and deliver presentations to business partners and Financial Advisors • Responding to inquiries about the recommendations and/or selection methodology used on products under coverage, drafting communications to the field, conducting onsite due diligence, and performing risk analysis on third-party investment products • Assisting in the management of key workflow initiatives • Assisting in the training of junior level Analysts Requirements • 5+ years of Retail Investment Research experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Nice-to-haves • Experience performing qualitative and quantitative analysis, including statistical and performance analytics on investments • Experience analyzing alternative investment strategies including hedge funds and private capital • Experience in conducting alternative investment manager research • Experience working with alternative investment databases • Ability to create and deliver dynamic presentations • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills • A BS/BA degree or higher in one of the following statistical related fields: applied mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, or engineering • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation or demonstrated progress toward the designation • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time Apply tot his job
