Legislative Coordinator - Analyst III - Telework option

This position is Hybrid and eligible for telework up to four days a week and required to report to the office one day a week or as needed/required in accordance with F5CA's Telework Policy. Under general direction from First 5 of California (F5CA's) Deputy Director (DD) in the External and Governmental Affairs Office (EGAO), the Analyst Ill with a working title of Legislative Coordinator (LC) will be responsible for one or a combination of assigned program and policy areas in Public Education, Childcare, Health Care Delivery Systems, Mental Health, and Substance Use Disorder Services, Employment and Labor, and Social Services. And as the LC, will also represent the commission with various legislative representatives on the commission's numerous program and policy areas. This position is designated under the Conflict of Interest Code. The position is responsible for making or participating in the making of governmental decisions that may potentially have a material effect on personal financial interests. The appointee is required to complete Form 700 within 30 days of appointment and once per year. This position may require travel. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
