Description Job Number 712547BR Description: You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Senior for the Manufacturing Engineering team. Our team is responsible for improving the producibility of early designs and creating manufacturing plans and processes that support the evolving demands of the Warfighter. What You Will Be Doing As the Manufacturing Engineer Senior you will be responsible for developing and executing manufacturing processes that enable efficient, high-quality production while partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: * Develop and implement robust manufacturing processes and procedures. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production issues. * Drive continuous improvements to manufacturing workflows. * Ensure compliance with all quality and safety standards. * Provide technical support and manufacturing feedback on new product designs. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret clearance is required to start. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Developing and implementing manufacturing processes and procedures Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production issues Implementing improvements to manufacturing processes Ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards Providing technical support to production teams Providing manufacturing feedback on new product designs for the team. Our team is responsible for delivering high-quality products and supporting hardware development and program initiatives. Supporting NGSRI , Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in related engineering discipline • Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance; an Interim Secret clearance is required prior to start • Work experience in an Electrical Manufacturing shop specific to the manufacture of CCAs, PWBs, wiring harnesses and/or Flexes • A broad base of professional knowledge regarding electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical manufacturing • Professional experience with product manufacturability (DFM), producibility, and design for cost (DFC) • Demonstrated skills in team building and leading through influence in a professional setting • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization, including to non-technical personnel • Excellent written and verbal communication skills Desired Skills: • Experience with the design and manufacturing of complex electromechanical systems • Experience with mechanical assembly, manufacturing tooling design, factory design, and factory flow • Related professional level career experience in production operations • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification • Experience in program development with emphasis on cross-functional collaboration and leadership • Experience in capacity & capital planning • Understanding and wide application of assembly and test methods • First Unit Flow planning & execution • Statement of work and proposal development experience • Experience with Make-Buy generation and strategy • Experience in the design of manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, machining and material handling • Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) knowledge/experience Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
