Key Responsibilities Provide technical support to teachers, staff, and students, troubleshooting issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. Assist the Media Coordinator in managing library processes, including shelving books, checking out materials, and maintaining inventory. Support students with technology use and assist with lessons in the school library. Perform clerical duties, such as making copies and maintaining accurate records. Install and configure software, and communicate with technical staff to resolve complex issues. Prioritize technology help requests within a ticket system and document work accordingly. Collaborate with media and technology staff to ensure seamless support services. Other technology-related duties as assigned by the IT Director or Senior Network Administrator. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A high school diploma or equivalent. At least two years of experience in using computers and relevant software applications. General knowledge of computers, libraries, and technology infrastructure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with users of varying technical proficiency. Ability to troubleshoot problems, provide solutions, and refer complex issues to technical staff. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple requests. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience working in an educational setting or library environment. Familiarity with library management software and technology systems. Basic knowledge of networking and computer hardware. Certifications or training in relevant technical areas, such as IT support or library science. Skills and Competencies The ideal candidate will possess: Strong technical skills, including proficiency in using computers, software applications, and technology systems. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze issues and provide effective solutions.
