Merchandising Assistant

Minted is a community-driven marketplace of artists and makers, passionate about art and science. They are seeking a Merchandising Assistant to support the Merchandising team by managing seller communications, assisting with online merchandising, and conducting competitive analysis to drive sales and enhance customer experience. Responsibilities Support a key Minted business, with ownership of high-impact assignments Assist the category Merchant in preparing for and executing the assortment process, including recruiting new sellers and makers to join our Marketplace Manage external seller communications throughout recruitment, onboarding, and day-to-day operations Assist with the online merchandising of the relevant categories, including filters, SKU organization and ranking, and optimizing the overall “shoppability” of assortments Maintain and enhance merchandise data, including basic product information, filter assignments, search tags, and related products Partner with the category Merchant to identify growth opportunities through competitive and customer analysis, including both in-store visits and online research Complete ad hoc analytical projects, as requested by the category merchant Review all new products before launch, coaching sellers on how to present products on our site to meet Minted brand standards Coordinate with our Operations and Customer Services teams as necessary to keep the business running smoothly Skills A Bachelor's Degree and 0-3 years of work experience Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets; experience with Salesforce and using Gemini prompts is a plus!
