Remote Type Temp Pay Rate $70 Salary Position Title: Senior iOS Engineer Reports To: Mobile Engineering Manager Location: Remote – U.S. Description The Senior iOS Engineer will join the mobile development team to design, develop, and maintain high-performing iOS applications. This role is responsible for contributing across the full app lifecycle—from concept and design through delivery, testing, release, and post-launch support. The engineer will collaborate closely with Product, Design, Marketing, and cross-functional Engineering teams to deliver features that enhance user experience and support mobile strategy. This position is ideal for a hands-on, experienced iOS developer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is eager to drive mobile innovation. Responsibilities • Serve as senior iOS developer for multiple iOS apps and associated SDKs. • Deliver across the entire app lifecycle: concept, design, build, deploy, test, release, and support. • Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, Designers, and Marketers to conceptualize, build, test, and launch new features. • Standardize the platform to enable delivery across multiple brands with minimal effort. • Enforce coding standards and best practices, optimizing apps for performance and maintainability. • Collaborate with other development teams (API, Android, Web) on architectural vision and roadmap. • Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. • Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in mobile technologies. Requirements • Education: BA/BS degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field. • Experience: • 4+ years of experience with Swift, Objective-C, and iOS SDKs. • Experience building and shipping at least one publicly available app (links preferred). • Strong expertise in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, debugging, and performance optimization. • Experience architecting, designing, and developing high-performance iOS applications. • Experience implementing push notification strategies. • Skills: • Proficient in web service integration (REST, JSON, XML) and third-party libraries/APIs. • Proficient with Git version control and Git Flow workflows. • Familiarity with Agile development and cross-functional collaboration. Preferred Qualifications • Experience working on apps for multiple brands or multi-platform mobile strategies. • Knowledge of advanced mobile performance optimization techniques. • Familiarity with mobile analytics and A/B testing frameworks.
