About the Role & Team: Disney Experiences brings stories, characters and franchises to life through Parks & Resorts, toys, apps, apparel, books, and stores. The Operations Training team supports the Operations at Walt Disney World Resort by using our expertise to provide strategic and innovative learning solutions to prepare, develop, and enable Walt Disney World Cast to deliver incredible experiences for our Guests. Our objective is to ensure our Cast members earn their ears and continue to be successful in their operational roles. We are currently seeking an Operations Training Systems Specialist to join us. This role provides systems, mapping, and reporting support for all Operations Training team members and Resort partners at Walt Disney World. The selected candidate will report to the Metrics & Reporting Manager. This is a permanent Full Time hourly role that is not considered remote, which means the employee will work onsite on an ongoing basis and will have an assigned workspace at a Company designated location. What You Will Do: • Responsible for the creation, revision, and inactivation of D Learn items and curricula • Responsible for the system access administration of various Learning Management Systems • Integrates the sustainment of training mapping in scheduling systems for WDW Operations • Training Planning & Integration system administrator for product setup and revisions • Responsible for developing learning tools and classes for systems use and updates • Provide training systems support for Operations Training team members • Assist Operations Training team members with large-scale reporting and metrics requests • Host recurring connection meetings with clients Required Qualifications & Skills: • Strong written (typing), verbal communication, presentation, and social skills • Ability to think strategically and analyze data • Strong work ethics with great attention to detail • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple priorities, and perform job responsibilities in a fast-paced environment accurately and with minimal supervision • Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including weekends, holidays and possible overtime • Ability to handle confidential information • Proactive, self-motivating, and takes initiative to drive results despite uncertainty • Ability to remain positive and professional even at times of high work demands • Comfortable facilitating learning for a group of people both in-person and virtually • Medium to Advanced level knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office 365 Apps Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with Learning Management Systems • Basic knowledge with eLearning authoring tools (Articulate, Rise, etc.) • Expertise in Microsoft Excel, including VBA & Power Query • Experience with Microsoft Power Suite • Experience with web, database, or programming languages (HTML, Python, SQL, etc.) • Experience using data visualization and analysis tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) Preferred Education: • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, data analytics, related field or equivalent experience.
