Job Overview In this part-time role, you will work 34 hours per week, with flexible hours between 8am - 4:30pm CST, Monday through Friday. As a Data Entry Claims Intake Processor, you will be responsible for accurately entering data from insurance claims and authorization requests, navigating efficiently through imaging software, and collaborating with other team members to meet client turnaround times. Key Responsibilities Accurately enter data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests submitted by health care providers, ensuring high levels of accuracy and efficiency. Navigate efficiently and effectively through the imaging software to retrieve claims and authorizations for data entry, utilizing your strong technical skills. Differentiate between different claim types and follow the appropriate data entry guidelines, demonstrating your attention to detail and ability to follow procedures. Accurately identify specific document types that require special handling, ensuring that all documents are processed correctly and efficiently. Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure that work is completed in accordance with designated turnaround times, contributing to a positive and productive team environment. Support additional workflows as needed due to internal or external requirements, demonstrating your flexibility and adaptability. Additional Responsibilities Perform quality review of other team members' claims/authorizations according to established data entry guidelines, ensuring that all work meets the highest standards of accuracy and quality. Qualifications and Requirements To be a successful candidate for this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: Education: High school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating your foundation in basic skills and knowledge. Experience: 6 months or more years of experience in data entry or typing-focused role, providing you with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in this position. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong data entry/typing skills, excellent attention to detail, and a high degree of accuracy, ensuring that you can perform the responsibilities of the role with ease and precision. Assessment Requirements If selected for further consideration, candidates will be required to complete an online alphanumeric data entry assessment, demonstrating their ability to meet the required standards of 8,200 KSPH with a 98% Accuracy Rate.
