Job Overview In this critical role, you will be responsible for accurately entering data from insurance claims and authorization requests, ensuring timely and efficient processing to meet client turnaround times. Key Responsibilities Accurately enter data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers, adhering to established guidelines and protocols. Efficiently navigate imaging software to retrieve claims and authorizations for data entry, ensuring seamless workflow and minimal delays. Differentiate between various claim types and apply appropriate data entry guidelines to ensure accuracy and consistency. Identify specific document types requiring special handling, exercising sound judgment and attention to detail. Collaborate with team members to ensure work is completed within designated turnaround times, supporting additional workflows as needed. Perform quality reviews of other team members' claims/authorizations, providing constructive feedback and contributing to continuous improvement. Alert management to potential issues or discrepancies, recommending process improvements to increase efficiencies and enhance overall performance. Requirements and Qualifications To be a successful candidate for this role, you should possess the following essential qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a strong foundation in basic education. At least 6 months of experience in data entry or a typing-focused role, showcasing your ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong data entry/typing skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
