Key Responsibilities Accurately enter data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers, ensuring adherence to established data entry guidelines. Enter data expediently and efficiently to meet client turnaround times, navigating effectively through imaging software to retrieve claims and authorizations. Differentiate between various claim types and follow appropriate data entry guidelines, accurately identifying specific document types that require special handling. Collaborate with other team members to ensure work is completed in accordance with designated turnaround times, supporting additional workflows as needed due to internal or external requirements. Perform quality reviews of other team members' claims/authorizations, contributing to the team effort by accomplishing additional responsibilities as needed. Alert management to potential issues upon identification of discrepancies, providing recommendations on process improvements to increase efficiencies as appropriate. Requirements for Success To be a strong candidate for this role, you should possess the following qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: 6 months or more of experience in a data entry or typing-focused role. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong data entry/typing skills, with the ability to achieve 8,200 KSPH with a 98% accuracy rate. Excellent attention to detail, with a high degree of accuracy in data entry. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to team goals. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify discrepancies and provide recommendations for process improvements.
