About the Role As a Part-time Construction Document Controller, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including ensuring compliance with UK Building Safety Regulations, CDM & H&S Requirements, and assisting with applications and coordinating all activities related to the document control procedure. You will maintain and update building site fire regulations, safety reports, and drawings, as well as prepare and review health and safety paperwork in accordance with UK legislation. Your excellent organizational skills and attention to detail will be essential in managing the issue of drawings and documents from external subcontractors and acting as a point of contact for all construction documentation control. Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with UK Building Safety Regulations, CDM & H&S Requirements Assist with applications and coordinate all activities related to the document control procedure Maintain and update building site fire regulations, safety reports, and drawings Prepare and review health and safety paperwork in accordance with UK legislation Issue documents and drawings to building sites for tender submission Manage the issue of drawings and documents from external subcontractors Act as a point of contact for all construction documentation control Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong and diverse skillset, including in-depth knowledge of UK Building Safety Regulations, experience with building site fire regulations and safety reports, and proficiency in creating and managing safety reports and drawings. You will also need to have a strong understanding of UK health and safety legislation, excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail. The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently is essential, as well as experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Teams & Outlook, and strong written communication skills.
