About the Role: Developer Engagement Representative We're looking for a passionate and skilled Developer Engagement Representative to join our International Developer Engagement Team. This is a 6-month part-time contract position, ideal for someone who is passionate about Roblox and growing the local creator community in the Netherlands region. As a Developer Engagement Representative, you will play a crucial role in developing an understanding of Roblox moderation rules and guidelines, prospecting to build a pipeline of partnerships with the developer community, and celebrating and engaging with upcoming and current international developers on the platform. Key Responsibilities: Develop a deep understanding of Roblox moderation rules and guidelines to ensure compliance and community safety. Prospect and build a pipeline of partnerships with the developer community to foster growth and engagement. Follow our team's processes and aspire to create new ones, contributing to the continuous improvement of our developer engagement strategies. Celebrate and engage with upcoming and current international developers on the platform, providing support and encouragement to empower their success. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication, adopting a team-first mentality. Essential Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you should have: A great understanding of Roblox and the Roblox community, with a good standing regarding Roblox moderation history. Excellent speaking and writing skills in both English and one of the applied languages (in this case, German). A strong belief that helping the community is crucial to the success of the company, with a desire to help empower and encourage our developer community. Experience in cross-team collaboration, with a team-first mentality and knowledge of community processes, methodologies, and best practices. Fluency in both English and German, with a physical location in the Netherlands. Preferred Qualifications: While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Prior experience in developer engagement, community management, or a related field. Knowledge of programming languages and development frameworks, with an understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by developers. Familiarity with Roblox's developer tools and platform, with a passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest developments.
