As a Part-Time Loss Prevention Associate - Flex Schedule, you will play a vital role in protecting Kohl's physical, human, and property assets within our Distribution Center (DC). This is an exciting opportunity to grow and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment, working overnight shifts from 10 pm to 6 am, Sunday through Saturday. About the Role As a Loss Prevention Associate, you will be responsible for assisting in Loss Prevention activities within the Distribution Center. Your primary focus will be on performing physical security, reporting policy and procedure violations to leadership, investigating internal theft, monitoring processes, auditing compliance, and performing data entry, documentation, and Gatehouse operations. You will work closely with the Loss Prevention team to ensure the protection of Kohl's assets and maintain a safe working environment for all associates. Key Responsibilities Assist in the protection of Kohl's physical, human, and property assets Monitor physical security policies and procedures of Kohl's and the Distribution Center Report incidents of associate theft or safety violations Participate in internal theft investigations in strict adherence to Kohl's policies and guidelines Monitor all Kohl's Department Store and Distribution Center safety policies and procedures and actively participate in the Distribution Center Safety Committee Perform Distribution Center Loss Prevention audits to measure accuracy Report production fraud or short-cuts by associates Monitor associates (via the floor and CCTV) to ensure compliance to processing guidelines Perform data entry of all audit results and assigned information Perform all Gatehouse operations and Gatehouse data entry Assist in store inquiries Participate in the training of newly hired Loss Prevention Associates Additional tasks may be assigned as needed Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have a High School Diploma or equivalent and/or previous Distribution Center, Law Enforcement, and/or Store Loss Prevention experience. You should also have certification in the use of power equipment to aid in investigations. Preferred qualifications include auditing experience and working knowledge of software programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and PeopleSoft.
