About the Role As a Part-Time Online Instructional Faculty member in the Department of Statistics, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality online education. Your primary responsibilities will include: Providing program instructions in our online format and administering them through our learning management system (Canvas) Incorporating innovative teaching methodologies to engage students and enhance learning outcomes Designing course material and assessments that meet the department's academic standards Providing personalized and substantive feedback to students to foster their academic growth Participating in ongoing course development and improvement initiatives Previous experience in online instruction is preferred, but not required. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in statistics, a passion for teaching, and excellent communication skills.
