People & Organization Business Partner
Job Description: The P&O Business Partner, Field Operations serves as a strategic partner to designated field and hospital leaders.Drive execution of people strategies, holistic programs, and tailored solutions to enhance efficiency and performance.Deliver key people initiatives, talent management, and total rewards signature processes in partnership with functional leaders and P&O Centers of Excellence.Embed the VCA culture, build capabilities, provide leadership coaching, deploy culture/talent/Associate experience programs, and lead specified change initiatives.Travel up to 50% of the time to visit field and hospital teams.Provide strategic support, coaching, and guidance to Associates and Leaders on P&O matters including total rewards, talent & culture, talent acquisition, workforce planning, performance management, change management, employer branding, retention & engagement, communication, and conflict management.Champion a “people first mindset” by supporting, training, and coaching Associates on field-facing P&O initiatives and signature processes.Collaborate with Field and Hospital leadership teams to develop and execute people planning and goals around people results.Utilize evidence-based approaches to identify trends, influence people strategies, and recommend workplace enhancements.Lead the local execution of P&O programs with in-scope field and hospital Associates.Collaborate with the data team to analyze people metrics (monthly, quarterly, annually) and deliver strategic insights and recommendations.Build strong partnerships and collaborate with the Associate Relations & Support Office team.Model the VCA and Mars Culture and lead execution of signature processes such as the Mars Associate Survey and Performance Development Process.Fulfill other related duties as assigned. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.5+ years of experience in a P&O or HR business partner role, ideally within a large, multi-site organization.Expertise in talent management, talent acquisition, learning and development, associate engagement, total rewards, and organizational design and development.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and partner at all levels.
