The Physical Security Risk Program Management Advisor will play a critical role in shaping and executing the organization's physical security strategy. This includes leading the development, implementation, and ongoing management of a comprehensive physical security program that aligns with enterprise risk objectives. The advisor will be responsible for designing scalable frameworks, establishing standards, and driving consistency across data center and hub locations. They will also ensure that security measures evolve in response to organizational growth, regulatory requirements, and emerging threats. This is a remote position, however, candidates must be located in one of the following metro areas: Lenexa, KS; Cedar Falls, IA; Monett, MO; Springfield, MO; Charlotte, NC or Allen, TX. The salary range for this position is $105,060 - $145,000 and will be determined based on location and experience level. Responsibilities • Developing and maintaining a comprehensive security risk program, including policies, procedures, and protocols that align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. • Conducting risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential threats and implement effective mitigation strategies across all office locations. • Collaborating with senior leadership and cross-functional teams (IT, HR, Facilities) to ensure security strategies are integrated into broader organizational initiatives. • Designing and implementing security awareness programs to foster a culture of safety and preparedness throughout the organization. • Creating and managing incident response plans for physical security breaches, ensuring swift resolution and minimal disruption to operations. • Evaluating and coordinating new security technologies and systems to enhance the organization's overall security posture and support future growth. • May perform other job duties as assigned. Requirements • Bachelor's degree is required. Degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field preferred. • Minimum of 10 years of experience in security risk management in a large, multi-location organization. • Strong situational awareness and sound judgment, especially in dynamic or high-pressure environments. • Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to building partnerships across departments and external stakeholders. • Curious and forward-thinking, with a desire to continuously improve security practices and adapt to emerging risks. Nice-to-haves • Relevant certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP) are a plus. • Familiarity with security regulations and standards applicable to financial institutions. • Strong project management skills to oversee initiatives from planning to execution, ensuring timely and successful completion. • Experience with physical security risk assessments and vulnerability analyses.
