Physical Therapy Scheduler - REMOTE MUST LIVE IN TN
About the position MPOWER is looking for a Full Time Therapy Scheduling team member to add to our Scheduling Team. This role has the opportunity to transition to a remote position after completion of up to 90 days of in-person onboarding and training. Candidates must live in Tennessee within driving distance of one of our MPOWER locations. No exceptions to in-person training will be permitted. Therapy Schedulers at MPOWER Physical Therapy work in a team environment to schedule initial appointments for physical and occupational therapy at all MPOWER locations and facilitate referrals to outside therapy clinics. Responsibilities • Meet or exceed expectations in providing extreme customer service to our patients and team members • Meet or exceed goals for all assigned productivity metrics • Promptly answer all calls, voicemails, and emails • Schedule therapy evaluations and guide patients to the appropriate MPOWER clinic based on Clinic Manager needs, referring Physician instructions, insurance, patient status (post-operative vs. non-operative), and patient preference • Update physician clinic teams and Electronic Medical Record to include date of initial evaluation and clinic location per process • Execute daily processes related to incoming Therapy Scheduling Workgroup calls • Maintain daily focus on primary responsibilities as assigned by Therapy Scheduling operational processes • Communicate with team members to ensure consistent coverage of phone queue during business hours • Provide suppport to other Therapy Scheduling Roles are primary daily responsibilites are completed • Recommend updates the Outside Therapy Clinic list as identified • Maintain work schedule as assigned by Therapy Scheduling Supervisor • Prepare for, attend and actively participate in all meetings as scheduled • Adhere daily to the MPOWER Telework Policy • Assist other roles in Therapy Scheduling Department as assigned by Therapy Scheduling Supervisor or Operations Management Team Requirements • High School diploma is required • Excellent follow up skills with patients and team members • Ability to take direction, prioritize tasks and proper time management • Interest and passion for personal health and wellness • Kind and helpful personality and communication skills • Ability to handle difficult people and situations • Firm command of MS Office Suite, Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Practice Management (PM) platforms and other key applications • Neat and professional appearance Nice-to-haves • Past job experience working in a customer service role is preferred Benefits • Consistent schedule – no weekends • Employer Supported Medical Benefits Eligible – Health, Dental and Vision Benefits available • Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays • Retirement Plan Matching • Remote Work Eligible after In-Person Onboarding and Training Completed up to 90 days Apply tot his job
