How You’ll Make An Impact We’re looking for an Associate to join our Speaker Management team who can work directly with clients, event organizers, and speakers to bring powerful stories to global stages. As an Associate, you’ll research top-tier events, sharpen your pitching skills, craft creative speaker content, and coordinate speaking opportunities that make an impact. You’ll also lead calls with clients and event partners to build strong relationships and help bring each opportunity to life. This role is ideal for someone ready to take ownership and make a difference in the events world. As part of the Speaker Management team, you’ll help drive cred’s mission to elevate thought leaders and create meaningful opportunities on stages around the world. What We’re Looking For The Associate is responsible for: • Owning success for a portfolio of clients, across a range of industries, primarily in tech • Leading day-to-day communication with clients via email and Slack, as well as driving the agenda process and taking the lead on client calls, action items and follow up post-meeting • Researching and identifying events and podcasts that meet client goals • Strategizing and drafting compelling pitches that lead to client wins • Proactively updating and organizing all client documents including their event tracker, speaking platforms, our event database, Google Drive, etc. • Drafting and sending detailed monthly reports, ensuring accuracy and clarity • Building strong relationships with event organizers • Organizing & leading group submissions to drive wins across the team • Involved in new client onboarding including background research, kickoff call, building out event tracker, and assisting with speaking platforms and other strategy docs • Involved with cred-wide initiatives; sharing ideas on ways to improve processes and contribute to company culture and success Education / Experience: • 2-3 years experience at a PR, communications or marketing agency, working in house on a communications team, or related field/industry • 1+ years managing or leading client communications and calls • Experience drafting pitches, recaps, or client-facing content that drives measurable results • Prior experience working with events and podcasts, and other thought leadership efforts • Strong communication skills with experience partnering across teams and directly with clients to deliver successful outcomes • Familiarity with Google Suite, Airtable, Slack, and Zoom • Familiarity with the tech industry is a plus Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Creative writer who can craft strong narratives and tailor messaging for different audiences • Strong researcher who can quickly identify high-value events, trends, and speaking opportunities • Excellent proofreading and editing skills with high attention to tone and clarity • Understands how to connect client expertise to event themes and audience needs • Excellent time management skills, able to prioritize competing tasks and meet deadlines • Stays calm under pressure and can juggle multiple clients, priorities, and deadlines • Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented; nothing slips through the cracks • Responds professionally to client, partner, and team inquiries or issues • Team player who believes in collaboration and stepping in where needed • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating ideas clearly and succinctly • Resourceful, flexible, and unafraid to get extremely creative when needed • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and take initiative Why You’ll Love Working Here: • Base Salary: $68,640 - $70,725 • End of year profit sharing bonus after 1 full year of employment • Competitive benefits package, including medical, dental and vision plans, 401K with 3% company contribution, and short-term disability coverage • 15 PTO days, then unlimited PTO after 1 year, plus 8 sick days • 17 company holidays + 2 company-wide wellness days • One month paid sabbatical after 5 years of employment, plus other retention bonuses • Up to 14 weeks paid parental leave for expecting parents • Monthly stipends: $100 for coworking + $100 for work-from-home expenses • Annual company offsites and quarterly team-building events • Ongoing learning and development opportunities, including opportunities to attend industry events and conferences • Flexible and fully remote working environment • Room to grow and lead impactful projects on a small, fast-moving team Statistics show that individuals from underrepresented backgrounds are less likely to apply for roles unless they meet nearly all the listed qualifications.
