Your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities, including: - Identifying patients who require urgent care through risk stratification. - Employing causal analysis to assess the impact of our platform on healthcare delivery. - Conducting health economics research to pinpoint inefficiencies within our extensive network of primary care providers. - Developing financial models to evaluate the economic performance of primary care providers in various value-based care (VBC) settings. - Creating analytical pipelines and reports to support evidence-based decision-making by business stakeholders. This position is dynamic, requiring you to apply your expertise across these areas over time. You'll be expected to lead quantitative research initiatives, mentor colleagues, provide strategic insights to leadership, collaborate with internal teams, and exemplify excellence in quantitative research. • *What We Expect:** - Profound knowledge in quantitative methods such as causal inference, deep learning, and Bayesian analysis, with the ability to quickly grasp new techniques as needed. - Versatility in using diverse data sources for analysis and identifying new data opportunities to support business and research objectives. - A balance between thorough research and delivering impactful results swiftly in a fast-paced environment. - Strategic leadership in data science initiatives, fostering collaboration across teams to harness data-driven opportunities. - A commitment to hands-on data exploration and analysis, while also guiding and mentoring team members. - Advocacy for continuous learning, staying updated with industry trends, and implementing best practices in data science. - Collaboration with engineers, product managers, and clinicians to integrate data science solutions seamlessly. - Adherence to data governance and security protocols to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of healthcare data. - A strong ethical framework guiding research to mitigate bias. • *Who You Are:** - You hold a graduate degree in a relevant field or have equivalent experience, with at least 10 years of experience in quantitative analysis. - You have a proven track record of leading impactful data-driven projects, with expertise in healthcare analytics, especially in the Medicare VBC arena. - You're experienced in setting up data science infrastructure and have worked alongside technical teams to support research initiatives. - You're a mentor at heart, eager to share knowledge and guide junior team members in both technical and research design aspects. - You're well-versed in data governance, security, and ethics. - Your communication skills are top-notch, capable of demystifying complex concepts for diverse audiences. - You're proficient in SQL and prefer Python, though familiarity with other data science languages is a plus.
