The Group Youll Be A Part Of In the Global Products Group, we are dedicated to excellence in the design and engineering of Lam's etch and deposition products. What Youll Do This particular position is for a TEM operator working a night shift. • Operate a state-of-the-art TEM in order to image semiconductor samples. • Protect customer IP through procedure and vigilance. • Receive and integrate feedback from imaging in service of continuous improvement to the sample preparation process. • FIB Sample prep will be taken care of by other techs before the samples reach you. Qualifications • Experience operating HRTEM and S/TEM for imaging. Ideal candidates will have performed semiconductor or materials imaging. • A BS or higher-level degree in a physical science such as Physics or Chemistry. • Knowledge of the physics involved with FIB/SEM and TEM tools, such as vacuum systems, voltage/current effects, and ion sputtering behavior. • Experience in customer IP protection and sample handling. • Experience with TEM sample preparation using a FIB preferred. • Experience with EDS and EELS preferred.
