Supplier Identification and Evaluation: Identify potential suppliers and conduct thorough evaluations to assess their capabilities, including their quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions, including pricing, delivery, and payment terms. Supplier Performance Management: Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies promptly, ensuring that suppliers meet their obligations and performance standards. Procurement Strategy Development: Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost-efficiency and quality, including analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing best practices. Market Research and Analysis: Stay updated on market trends and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement, including researching new suppliers, products, and technologies. Procurement Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation, including contracts, agreements, and procurement plans. Stakeholder Relationship Management: Foster positive relationships with suppliers and stakeholders, including communicating procurement plans, negotiating contracts, and resolving issues. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Proven Experience: Proven experience as a Procurement and Sourcing Specialist or in a similar role, including experience in procurement operations, contract negotiation, and supplier management. Strong Negotiation and Communication Skills: Excellent negotiation and communication skills, including the ability to negotiate contracts, communicate procurement plans, and resolve issues. Procurement Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of procurement processes and best practices, including knowledge of procurement regulations, laws, and standards. Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, including the ability to analyze data, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement solutions. Proficiency in Procurement Software: Proficiency in using procurement software and tools, including experience with procurement systems, contract management software, and supplier management tools. Preferred Qualifications Advanced Degree: An advanced degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Certifications: Professional certifications in procurement, such as CPN, CPP, or CSCP. Experience in a Similar Industry: Experience working in a similar industry, including experience in manufacturing, logistics, or construction. Language Skills: Fluency in multiple languages, including English, Spanish, French, or Mandarin.
