As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in driving productivity and quality improvements across our organization. About the Role The PROD & QUALITY OPS MGR – Remote will report to the Director of Professional Billing Organization and will be responsible for analyzing data to identify areas for productivity improvement, developing and publishing metrics, and pinpointing areas of delays and interruptions that cause loss of productivity. You will work closely with our leadership team to drive operational and strategic change, manage a team of specialists, and provide recommendations for process improvements and automation. Key Responsibilities Manage a team of specialists to gather, refine, and package data related to productivity and quality measures, and provide recommendations for improvement. Work closely with PBO Managers, Sr. Manager, and Director to identify areas for growth, address staff-related performance issues, and develop tactical plans to achieve operational goals. Analyze complex data to develop actionable steps that will improve processes and optimize results, and provide this data to Managers to inform decision-making. Develop best practices for operationalizing new workflows with a focus on scale and automation, and provide leadership for large strategic and cross-functional workflow initiatives. Implement systems and programs to automate tasks and processes, and build positive working relationships across Revenue Cycle. Guide the Professional Billing Office leadership in identifying program initiatives in alignment with PBO's strategic objectives, and monitor daily productivity metrics. Develop process standard work and documentation, and coordinate with Training team to formalize and keep up to date. Perform detailed analysis of revenue cycle performance to identify trends, patterns, and root causes, and deliver summary findings of analysis for department leadership review. Requirements and Qualifications Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in a work-related field/discipline from an accredited college or university. Two years of progressively responsible and directly-related work experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to analyze and develop solutions to complex problems. Ability to analyze information, reach valid conclusions, and make sound recommendations. Ability to apply judgement and informed decisions. Ability to plan, organize, develop tactical plans, and set priorities. Ability to solve technical and non-technical problems. Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal formats, including summarizing data and presenting results. Ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization, including cross-functional teams. Knowledge of billing procedures and third-party payer claims processing requirements. Knowledge of information system and software relating to accounts receivables management and billing. Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulatory requirements related to the functional area. Knowledge of analytical research procedures and methods. Strong knowledge or expertise in Microsoft Office software, including Excel. Expertise in using large amounts of data to form conclusions and make recommendations. Ability to summarize complex data in a clear and concise way for the Senior Management team.
