Product Manager - Mobile Social App

We are looking for a Product Manager to lead the development of a new mobile social app at the intersection of gaming, community, and Web3. As a key member of our product team, you’ll work cross-functionally to define the vision, prioritize key features, and drive engagement through innovative social mechanics. This role reports to the Head of Product Management and collaborates closely with game teams, engineering, design, and marketing to build and scale a best-in-class social experience for players.. This remote position will report to our Head of Product Management, and will work with other cross-functional product teams within Mythical to understand and deliver against company goals and product initiatives. Responsibilities • Define and own the product strategy for an unannounced mobile social app, delivering incremental milestones toward a multi-year vision. • Develop and optimize engagement loops that encourage social interaction, community building, and retention. • Leverage data-driven insights to continuously improve the product—monitoring player behavior, engagement trends, and social dynamics. • Collaborate with game teams, engineers, and designers to ensure a seamless, integrated experience across Mythical’s ecosystem. • Own and execute the product roadmap, balancing innovation, quality, and speed-to-market. • Identify and mitigate risks, making strategic trade-offs to ensure timely delivery of high-quality features. Requirements • 3+ years of experience as a product manager, building consumer-facing platforms, social apps, or gaming products.• Deep experience in Web3, blockchain economies, or digital asset ownership—understanding how decentralized ownership impacts user engagement. • Proven track record in launching and scaling gaming-related social features (e.g., matchmaking, live events, user-generated content). • Experience in scaling mobile communities or social platforms with high engagement and retention. • Strong analytical mindset—comfortable diving into data, defining KPIs, and iterating based on insights.• Thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments, pushing the boundaries of innovation while maintaining stability. • Exceptional communication skills—able to present ideas clearly to cross-functional teams and senior leadership.•Understanding of APIs and backend systems, with the ability to work closely with engineering teams. Pluses • Experience launching social or community-driven features in games or entertainment products. • Built platform features that serve millions of daily users, especially in gaming or Web3. • Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, or other team collaboration tools. • Deep knowledge of Web3 ecosystems, DAOs, and player-owned economies.• Passion for gaming, player engagement, and digital economies. Pay Ranges by Tier: Tier 1: $127,000 - $175,000 Tier 2: $114,000 - $157,000 Tier 3: $102,000 - $140,000 Locations by Tier: Tier 1 Locations: San Francisco Bay Area - California Tier 2 Locations: Remainder of California (outside of the SF Bay Area), Washington state, Massachusetts state, New York state Tier 3 Locations: All other states outside of California, Washington, Massachusetts, and New York • The role is open to candidates in the following states on a remote basis: California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Maryland, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Texas & Washington The base salary for each successful applicant will be dependent on a variety of factors, including work location, education, qualifications, competencies, relevant work experience, business needs, and market demands. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
