As a Product Manager, SaaS Platform, you will develop a deep understanding of customer challenges within the construction industry, using this insight to shape market-leading software and data solutions. This role involves translating customer pain points into scalable, integrated platform solutions that align with Gordian's strategic goals. You will be responsible for managing roadmap initiatives, ensuring that customer value is delivered in iterative releases, and effectively communicating complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Collaboration with cross-functional teams—including product, engineering, design and market planning—will be essential to gather information, conduct research, and refine product deliverables. Staying updated on industry trends and best practices in platform development will enable you to adapt and innovate continuously, maintaining Gordian’s competitive edge. • * Key Responsibilities: • *** Customer & Stakeholder Engagement** • ** Customer Value Delivery: • * Drive the execution of platform capabilities that address defined customer needs, delivering impactful functionality in manageable, iterative releases aligned to Gordian’s North Star Strategy. • ** Feedback Integration & Voice of Customer: • * Actively gather and synthesize input from customers, market research, and internal teams to ensure deliverables reflect evolving needs. Leverage Voice of Customer insights to adapt solutions and demonstrate responsiveness and agility. • ** Value Communication: • * Support internal and external communications of deliverables, including roadmap updates, to clearly convey the value and timing of market deliverables. • ** Subject Matter Expertise: • * Build expertise in customer challenges and foster strong market planning relationships to guide customer-focused product decisions. • * Roadmap & Execution** • ** Roadmap Execution: • * Manage specific items on the roadmap, ensuring alignment with the North Star strategy and prioritized LPM initiatives; track milestones to ensure timely delivery while adhering to the Development Lifecycle Process. • ** Cross-Functional Coordination: • * Collaborate closely with product, engineering, design and market planning to streamline execution and support smooth communication of priorities. Facilitate scope discussions, balancing customer, business and technical needs to ensure value-based delivery. • ** Strategic Awareness**: Deconstruct complex problems into manageable, value-driven epics and features for efficient, iterative delivery. Actively contribute to prioritization discussions and build expertise in owning and refining focus area priorities. • ** Success Metrics: • * Define and track key performance indicators such as churn reduction, expansion revenue (including upsell and cross-sell), and trial conversion rates to evaluate the effectiveness of delivered solutions. • * Qualifications: • ** Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA is a plus. • 4+ years of experience in product management, platform strategy, or a related field, preferably in a SaaS environment. • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product development lifecycle. • Proven track record in managing product roadmaps, writing customer-centric initiatives, and delivering measurable results. • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills. • Experience with tools like Aha!, Jira, Confluence, Figma, and analytics platforms. • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess data and feedback to inform strategic decisions. • Understanding of the construction industry, including key customer challenges and market trends is a plus. • AI Product Management experience is a plus. • * Fortive Corporation Overview • * Fortive’s essential technology makes the world safer and more productive.
