Role Overview: Join Kobalt.io as a Project Coordinator and play a pivotal role in supporting our dynamic project team in planning, executing, and delivering a multitude of cybersecurity projects for Kobalt.io’s global client base. As Kobalt.io’s Project Coordinator, you will be instrumental in driving success through your passion for project management and interest in the field of cybersecurity. This is an exciting remote 9-month opportunity for candidates residing in the Pacific time zone. Working remotely provides flexibility and allows us to build a strong, cohesive team regardless of physical location. Responsibilities: • Coordinate cybersecurity projects end-to-end from collecting project details during sales handoff, allocating resources (both internal and external), monitoring progression, and maintaining project plans • Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring effective communication and collaboration between the client and the delivery resources • Ensure project success by maintaining a high level of accountability for project health, which includes proactive risk forecasting, timely reporting of roadblocks, effective management of project changes, and providing essential support to the delivery team whenever required • Organize (scheduling and agenda preparation) and facilitate project meetings • Prepare and distribute project documentation, reports, and presentations • Ensure projects are executed within the defined timeline and budget • Utilize advanced project management and document collaboration tools to streamline task delegation, monitor project progress, and enhance overall project efficiency. • Weekly project reporting to keep internal stakeholders informed of progress • Effectively navigate and manage conflicts that may arise during the project and participate in creating solutions to realign the project and bring it back on course • Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying areas for process enhancement and implementing best practices • Oversee a team of external consultants, ensuring timely project updates, documentation, and invoice submissions • Provide other project support to the internal team as needed. Qualifications: • A post-secondary degree in Project Management or another related field with 2+ years of experience • Familiarity with cloud-based software and project management tools, such as Google Workspace, Confluence, and Monday.com, to manage Kobalt.io’s security projects. • Proven ability to serve as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring effective client-delivery team communication and collaboration with a strong customer success-oriented approach. • Ability to successfully coordinate and deliver projects within a defined timeline and budget. • Ability to prioritize while utilizing time management skills to ensure the successful and timely completion of projects. • Versatility to work independently and collaboratively with a passion for cybersecurity and a detail-oriented mindset.
