Project Coordinator

They are seeking a Project Coordinator to support assigned projects by evaluating products and services, managing options to meet client needs, and overseeing the production function from start to finish. Responsibilities Lead Projects and adhere to RRG's Production and Project Management processes (receipt of initial inquiries, review against criteria, ongoing liaison to sales team, coordination with design services (design, renderings, specs), planning, executing, controlling, and completing the work required to achieve a specific result per client expectations/P.O.) Evaluate inquiry, determine resources needed (art, manufacturing, sourcing) Select appropriate vendors for projects and complete client grid with best choice pricing Submit final sell pricing to BDM/SOM for review Issue purchase orders to approved suppliers Oversee and coordinate sample (enforce established sample protocols, inspect samples, inform changes and coordinate with vendors and sales team. Make arrangement with logistics team as needed to transport samples) Perform quick and value-added review of all new inquiries Create and manage the quote request /bid sheet OR Development Item Grid (document shared with vendors) Create and maintain all data within JD Edwards with accuracy and timeliness Initiate proactive communications as needed with BDM/SOM so that all are aware of significant changes or identified challenges and proposed solutions Manage overall project timeline to meet deadlines and proactively alert others Maintain client information and project filing system per established procedures Support required data integrity for all on demand reporting per established process (JD Edwards, coordination of price quotes, project timeline status, etc.) Support accurate and timely information flow (filing protocols and procedures within Box) Meet or exceed established dates for quote turnarounds Overall Project Timelines met or beaten for 95% of projects per year Risks effectively managed so that margin goals are met or exceeded on average Proactively shares and updates Sales Ops and Sales to manage all internal and external expectations Skills Bachelor's degree required 1-3 years' experience in project management or merchandising a plus or equivalent field Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with all parties involved with our business Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Internet Research Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment; ability to multi-task and prioritize Work independently while maintaining full accountability for achieving business objectives and delivering measurable results Demonstrates a high level of self-motivation and a strong commitment to teamwork, consistently operating with a keen sense of urgency to drive results and support organizational goals Occasional travel (approximately 10%) to attend trade shows or suppliers Benefits Medical, Dental & Vision Benefits first of the month following 30 days Flex Care and Health Care Spending Account Life Insurance Paid Time Off - Vacation, Sick, Holidays and Personal Time Parental Leave 401K with generous company match Tuition Reimbursement program Company Overview We provide a one-stop-shop, on-time and in-full specialist distribution service accross more than 30 countries, supplying a broad range of internationally sourced non-food products to a variety of market sectors.
