Public Relations Senior Account Executive

We are immediately seeking a talented, self-starter with a proven public relations agency background and demonstrated ability to identify strategic differentiators in client product offerings for a Senior Account Executive-level role to support multiple campaigns encompassing earned media, content creation and thought leadership. Responsibilities ● Be a trusted and reliable member of our team, delivering on-time and on-budget high quality results, actionable recommendations and day-to day deliverables across clients in the traditional energy, renewable energy and industrials sectors. ● Support the execution of communications campaigns that embrace all facets of communications. ● Collaborate with team members to deliver best practices and counsel for clients. ● Create high-quality written materials – including but not limited to press releases, interview preparation materials, blog posts, social media posts, speaker abstracts, award nominations and bylines – that support campaign goals and business objectives. ● Create story themes continuously and work closely with targeted media to shape communications results. ● Cultivate and nurture media relationships, pitching creative story ideas that result in earned media coverage that aligns with campaigns. ● Provide project management support for key accounts to support deadlines. Qualifications ● PR agency background required, with a minimum of 3 years of experience executing public relations initiatives and developing communications recommendations; experience in traditional or renewable energy or industrial sectors is preferred. ● Ability to translate technologies and processes into easily understood concepts to enhance B2B storytelling. ● Proven success securing earned media placements with trade and national business media as well as bloggers and podcast hosts. ● Strong writing skills and experience drafting multiple types of communications materials that deliver results. ● Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple client needs and deadlines. ● Demonstrates attention to detail and the ability to be a creative problem solver. ● Excellent interpersonal skills to interface with clients and fellow team members. ● Professional demeanor with all client and team interactions regardless of format. This is a contract position starting at 15-20 hours per week with potential to quickly increase. The hourly rate will be commensurate with the role and experience, ranging from $35 - $45/hour.
