Please see the details below and let me know if you have any available resources. • QA Analyst – Digital Publishing (#10371871) $40 C2C Position Type: Contract Job Location: Any location within the US Duration: 3 months Openings: 5 Client: Florida Virtual School (Interview Type: Phone/Webex) Job Description QA Analyst – Manual Testing – Digital Publishing Position Summary · Responsible for developing and executing formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications. · Involved in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation and test execution. Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status. · Collects and analyzes data for software process evaluation and improvements and integrates them into business processes to address the business needs. · Documents all problems and assists in their resolution. · Delivers quality process training to technical staff and acts as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business or technical partners. · Performs quality audits across the various IT functions to ensure quality standards, procedures and methodologies are being followed. Required Skills Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar. Or equivalent work experience. Experience: · Typically has 3 to 5 years of systems development, testing and/or business experience. · Must have experience performing manual testing. · Experience required performing primarily web content testing in HTML, JavaScript, CSS. · Must have high attention to detail. · Experience using ServiceNow for defect tracking highly preferred. · Web development experience is nice to have and optional as this work will be testing digital publishing content, or web content, a basic foundation in web development will assist the candidate. Complexity: · Intermediate professional level role. · Works on projects of moderate to high complexity within one or more development environments. · Works on multiple programs/systems as a project team member. · Considered a subject matter expert for a single program/system. · May coach more junior technical staff.
