Job Summary We are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to work in our remote location. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Quality Assurance Supervisor in overseeing the operation of Lab and blending/batch personnel, ensuring the safety of our people, workplace, and environment, and meeting all company, legal, and other requirements. The Quality Assurance Technician will work varied shifts, including first shift (7am-3pm), second shift (3pm-11pm), and third shift (11pm-7am), with training provided for 2 weeks on each shift. Key Responsibilities Facilitate scheduling functions in both Lab and Blending Conduct weekly micro-plating and reading for subject areas Assure integrity of all laboratory testing, product quality, and syrup batching Conduct package quality inspections and quality audits to ensure processes are effective, efficient, and compliant Serve as primary trainer for QA and other departments regarding quality issues Receive and test CO2 and all raw materials prior to production process Maintain highest possible housekeeping standards to prevent microbial contamination Facilitate GMP/Food Safety programs Ensure that all concentrate, beverage bases, and HFCS are ordered for production Ensure that all laboratory supplies and personal protective equipment are adequate and available as needed Understand all laboratory, water treatment, and syrup room and sanitation duties Ensure all reporting is accurate and on time Perform other duties as deemed necessary by management Support management system efforts, such as document control, audits, records, and continual improvement Essential Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Bachelor's degree in a science-related field preferred 1-3 years of prior production/manufacturing experience or 2+ years of relevant lab technician experience Food/beverage industry experience a plus Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy Strong analytical skills Ability to read, write, and keep records Good computer skills, including literacy with Excel and Word Familiarity with lab safety and handling of hazardous materials Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a science-related field Food/beverage industry experience Experience with GMP/Food Safety programs Knowledge of laboratory testing and quality control procedures Skills and Competencies Attention to detail and accuracy Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and training skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Liberty Coca-Cola Beverages LLC, we are committed to investing in our people and providing opportunities for growth and development.
