R-111906 Private Flood Underwriter Support Associate
As a Private Flood Underwriter Support team member, you will support underwriters by evaluating quotes received from agents. This will include researching and gathering information once bind orders are received to ensure we’re in compliance with all Excess & Surplus (E&S) state forms, fees, and tax requirements. You will prepare and submit renewal offers to agencies, bind renewal offers, complete endorsements as instructed, validate and process cancellations, and prepare and process declaration pages for new business, renewals, and reinstatements. What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job? • Analyze and process new business, endorsement, renewal, cancellation, and reinstatement policies. • Review policies for form, fee, and tax compliance requirements; support broker and underwriting staff by researching, gathering, and producing documentation for policy transactions; maintain agency database. • Monitor and manage Image Right and the Private flood inbox. • Review forms and payments for accuracy & process. • Update the Portal and workbooks; prepare and process queries and policy activity reports. • Navigate, process, and update tickets and various screens in our policy management system, workflow management system, agency management system, Exceed billing system, and within Microsoft Office Suite. What are the requirements needed for this position? • Minimum of 2 years of experience providing underwriting support and documentation for Property & Casualty Insurance, preferably with exposure to Commercial and Surplus Lines. Responsibilities include policy issuance, ongoing policy management including billing and compliance requirement. • Experienced working in a fast-paced, growing environment emphasizing initiative, critical thinking, and accountability. • Ability to learn and navigate multiple systems, including policy management, databases, and workflow systems. • Experienced in responding promptly to internal and external status inquiries, including coverage, location, and agency details. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Outlook and Excel. What other skills/experience would be helpful to have? • Associate degree or equivalency in Insurance, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Risk Management, or Mathematics preferred. • Track record of building relationships with retail agencies. • Basic understanding of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) a plus. #LI-Remote Apply tot his job
