[Remote] California Licensed Attorney for Litigation Overflow: Remote

They are seeking a California Licensed Attorney to assist with litigation overflow work on a remote, contract basis. Responsibilities • Prepare complaints, motions, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation documents • Conduct first-pass reviews of pleadings and filings for accuracy and compliance • Perform targeted legal research to support ongoing cases • Summarize findings and provide recommendations to supervising attorneys • Review and analyze case files, deposition transcripts, and discovery materials • Communicate with supervising attorneys to ensure alignment on case strategy • Coordinate with paralegals and staff to maintain deadlines and case progress Skills • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school • Active bar admission in California • One to three (1–3) years of litigation experience, preferably in a law firm setting • Strong drafting, research, and analytical skills • Ability to manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines • Professional demeanor and commitment to client service Company Overview • Hire Counsel is a leading innovative services provider to law firms, corporations and government agencies for today’s new legal economy It was founded in 1993, and is headquartered in New York, New York, USA, with a workforce of 1001-5000 employees.
