Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Lemonade is seeking a Claims Property Advocate with experience in handling complex Contents claims to join their claims organization. The role involves educating customers, investigating claims, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a best-in-class customer experience. Responsibilities Quickly communicate and build rapport with our customers, while providing top-notch service by phone and email through a claim, from end-to-end Effective verbal and written communication Obtain, evaluate, and investigate facts of loss for the timely settlement of claims Have an investigative mindset and the ability to interpret information to make accurate claims decisions, while providing an excellent customer experience Organize and prioritize daily tasks in order to resolve claim-based questions Understand and interpret individual customer policies per state Explain coverage decisions to customers in plain English, without relying on jargon Skills 1 year of property claim-handling experience—handling all perils and causes of loss including theft, water, and fire Ability to absorb and excel in a very fast paced and dynamic work environment Claim handling experience in an effective desk management environment Experience handling complex Contents and Loss-of-Use claims Experience working with large national property-direct repair vendors and adjusting firms Empathy, patience, positivity, and a passion for outstanding customer experiences Comfortable with and adaptable to new technology and business tools Lemonade expects all advocates to have and maintain an adjusters license in good standing.
