The Role: Collection Support Specialist As a Collection Support Specialist working remotely from Tulsa, Oklahoma, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing assistance, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience. Key Responsibilities Comply with all specified FDCPA, state, and city laws and provisions, ensuring regulatory adherence in all customer interactions. Assist managers on special projects, contributing to the team's success and growth. Handle inbound calls professionally, addressing customer inquiries and concerns. Process payments on customer wireless, wireline, and connect accounts efficiently. Manage customer accounts by sending invoices, setting up autopay, and ensuring accounts remain active. Correct any deficiencies or oversights as outlined by management and quality control, demonstrating attention to detail. Maintain good public relations, fostering a positive image of the company. Adhere to company attendance, punctuality, and meal and rest break requirements, ensuring reliability. Maintain concentration and focus to meet performance goals, demonstrating resilience under pressure. React positively to an ongoing, changing environment, showing adaptability. Demonstrate the ability to handle pressure when attempting to meet deadlines and performance goals. Maintain a good working relationship with assigned supervisors and coworkers, promoting a collaborative team environment. Work safely without presenting a threat to self or others, prioritizing a safe working environment. Perform additional duties as required by management, showing flexibility and a willingness to learn. What We Look for in a Candidate To excel in this role, you should possess: A high school diploma or equivalent; a BA degree is preferred. Call center or collections experience, although not mandatory, is highly valued. Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly. The ability to apply basic mathematical concepts, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions. The capacity to remain engaged on the phone throughout your shift with minimal distractions, demonstrating dedication. Computer/technology savvy with the ability to operate multiple windows and tabs smoothly while providing top-notch customer service. Superb attendance record, ensuring reliability and consistency in customer support.
