[Remote] Compliance Product Manager

The Compliance Product Manager is responsible for designing and optimizing solutions for regulatory compliance and risk management, collaborating with various teams to ensure compliance infrastructure is scalable and reliable. Responsibilities • Provide legal and regulatory advice to product, business, and operations teams on the design, enhancement, and launch of exchange products and features • Interpret and apply evolving U.S. federal and state regulations (e.g., SEC, CFTC, FinCEN, BSA/AML, state money transmitter laws, consumer protection) to the company’s offerings • Support internal review of new product proposals and ensure alignment with licensing, registration, and cross-border regulatory obligations • Draft and review internal memos, risk assessments, and regulatory impact analyses related to new products or business models • Work closely with external counsel and regulators, where appropriate, to clarify legal positions or support regulatory filings • Monitor upcoming U.S. legislative and regulatory developments and assess their impact on existing and planned products • Partner with Compliance and Risk teams to design and implement controls ensuring product compliance across jurisdictions • Support training and knowledge-sharing initiatives to build product regulatory awareness across internal teams • Assist in preparing responses to regulatory inquiries, audits, and reporting requirements relevant to product operations Skills • Degree in Law from an accredited law school; admission to practice in one or more U.S. jurisdictions preferred • 4–7 years of experience in financial services, fintech, or digital asset regulation, ideally in-house or with a top-tier law firm • Strong working knowledge of U.S. financial regulations (SEC, CFTC, FinCEN/BSA, state money transmitter laws, consumer protection) and their application to crypto or payment products • Demonstrated experience advising on product structuring, market entry, or licensing within a regulated environment • Ability to balance legal precision with commercial pragmatism in a fast-paced business setting • Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
